We are Pears is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic enterprise transformation initiative at Umeå Energi.
This assignment offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of a major upgrade and implementation project, transitioning Umeå Energi’s business-critical ERP platform from IFS APP10 to IFS Cloud. You will play a central role in ensuring a successful migration while coordinating stakeholders, suppliers, project resources, and business operations.

About the Assignment
Umeå Energi is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (Level 4) to lead the upgrade and implementation of its enterprise business system from IFS APP10 to IFS Cloud.
This is a high-profile transformation initiative requiring strong leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and enterprise project delivery expertise.
The assignment is estimated at approximately 1,000 hours and is scheduled to start on August 17.
Please note that team-based submissions will not be accepted. The role must be fulfilled by one dedicated consultant.
Your Responsibilities
• Lead the complete upgrade and implementation journey from IFS APP10 to IFS Cloud
• Manage project scope and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee project timelines and milestones
• Manage project budgets and financial follow-up
• Lead integration activities across systems, applications, and business processes
• Ensure quality assurance throughout all project phases
• Coordinate and lead project resources, stakeholders, and delivery teams
• Drive project communication across business units, suppliers, and management
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Establish project governance structures and reporting routines
• Ensure comprehensive project documentation and knowledge transfer
• Drive successful adoption and business readiness throughout the transformation
We Believe You Have
• Extensive experience leading large-scale ERP implementation or upgrade projects
• Strong experience working with IFS Applications and preferably IFS Cloud
• Proven track record managing complex enterprise transformation initiatives
• Deep understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder management
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating external suppliers
• Strong communication and leadership skills at both operational and executive levels
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and drive results in dynamic environments
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are considered advantageous
• Experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or other business-critical industries is highly valued
