Job description

Soros Consulting is looking for a Project Manager Sourcing on behalf of our client.
Location: Örebro, Sweden
Occasional domestic and international travel
About the role
Join a supportive, international Global Indirect Sourcing organization where sustainability, compliance, and long-term value creation are at the core of everything the team does.
As Project Manager Sourcing, you will lead and deliver complex, cross-organizational sourcing initiatives spanning regions, functions, and categories representing Global Indirect Sourcing as the sourcing project lead on group-level initiatives.
Working closely with Category Managers, regional sourcing teams, business stakeholders, and subject-matter experts, you will:
Drive and execute Group-wide RFx and negotiation projects
Lead cross-region supplier consolidation and harmonization initiatives
Manage spot/episodic sourcing events requiring rapid, structured execution
Support and lead post-merger sourcing programs
Drive category transitions in alignment with category owners
Execute cross-divisional, cross-regional sourcing waves and group-level RFx
Lead new sourcing initiatives and first-time category setups
Conduct complex negotiations, including should-costing and e-auctions
Ensure structured handover to category teams after award and implementation
Safeguard sourcing governance, methodology, and best practices
Promote sustainability, compliance, and responsible sourcing

Project Sourcing is a centrally governed expert team: you own sourcing execution for complex, scalable, group-level initiatives, while Category Managers retain stakeholder and supplier relationship ownership.
We're looking for someone who has:
Significant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement project management
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, comfortable managing complex RFx processes
Solid understanding of business dynamics across regions and functions
IT sourcing experience (highly desirable)
A university degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or equivalent experience
Fluent English, written and spoken

You thrive in a structured, collaborative environment, build strong stakeholder relationships, and are passionate about sourcing excellence and continuous improvement.
Sound like you? Apply today to join the team driving sourcing transformation across the group.
